The Moon pendant light in opal is based on Verner Panton’s early design from 1960 and represents one of the purest expressions of his work with light as a form-defining element. The characteristic fan-like arrangement of ten circular lamellae creates a dynamic silhouette that changes depending on the viewing angle, adding visual depth to the space.
In the white version, the lamellae are made of lacquered metal, which reflects and directs the light between the individual layers of the structure. The result is refined, soft and indirect illumination with a subtle interplay of light and shadow. The ceiling canopy is finished in the same material to ensure a visually clean conclusion.
With a diameter of 34 cm, it is an ideal choice above a dining table, coffee table or in a smaller living area. It works beautifully as a standalone piece, yet performs equally well in installations of multiple units, where repetition of the form creates rhythm and a harmonious lighting composition.
The Moon pendant light is also available in several additional sizes and finishes.
