About Muuto

Muuto's slogan is “New Nordic”, which means Muuto wants to emphasize its goal of expanding traditional Scandinavian design with new and fresh pieces of furniture.

The designers of Muuto are known among lovers of quality pieces mainly thanks to iconic products such as E27 pendant lamps that combine a touch of industrial design with Scandinavian simplicity. It illuminates every home, office or restaurant. The “rubber” luminaires of the Unfold series are also well-known. Last but not least, the hand-painted Ambit lamps also represent timelessness.

The simple and clean design that fits anywhere has also been reflected in the Visu Chair. In keeping with Muuto's main idea, Mika Tolvanen has given a new touch to traditional wooden chairs and bar stools.

Muuto is mainly known for collection of hangers – The Dots, which turn every wall into a playful and functional area. There's a lot to choose from: ceramic, wood or metal, all of which are available in a wide range of colors. It is up to you, how little or how many you place on the wall. The Norwegian designer Lars Tornøe thus encourages to an individual expression.
