About Stelton

Behind the Stelton design is more than a sixty years of experience. The brand was founded in Denmark by two inseparable friends Niels Stellan Høm and Carton Madelaire, whose names also form the brand name. Initial succes of Stelton was undoubtedly the well-known Cylinda Line collection designed by Arne Jacobsen, which also won the prestigious ID-prisen in 1967. To this day, Stelton hasn’t stopped colecting awards for their collections that embody the tradition, quality and perfect balance of aesthetics and functionality in every single product. Among the mainstays of Stelton’s portfolio, we can name EM thermoses, or the Emma and Theo tableware collections.

The brand's vision is covered by the motto "Stelton state of mind" – this expresses a kind of mindset that is shared by the brand's designers and also users themselves. The Stelton range consists mainly of collections of dishes and household accessories that have taken over around the world since the 1960s – in the USA, for example, Stelton experienced such a boom that his goods were sold in the most luxurious department stores at several times higher prices than in his native Denmark.
