Returns of goods
You may return the goods to us within 30 days of receipt without providing a reason. However, you cannot return goods that have been customized according to your specifications (made-to-order goods) or and items purchased for a business are not eligible for returns. What is the best way to proceed?
1. Let us know that you wish to return the goods or withdraw from the contract
You can express your interest in withdrawing from the contract either through the form available in your user account or by clicking through from the email confirmation of each order—this way, some of the information regarding your order will already be pre-filled. Alternatively, you can use the form on the Contract Withdrawal page.
2. Fill out the form and include it in the package
To ensure we can correctly match the items returned to our warehouse with your order, please fill out the return form, which you’ll find on the back of the “Thank You” card included in the package we sent you. If you no longer have this form, please include any document with your order number in the package.
If you are returning larger pieces of furniture or other unusually packaged items, after you’ve notified us via the Contract Withdrawal form or by email, please wait for us to contact you so we can work together to determine the best return procedure.
3. Pack the product carefully
For returns, it is important that the item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Pack it carefully in the original box to prevent damage during shipping. For fragile items, we recommend using bubble wrap or air cushions. Ideally, use the packing materials that came with your original shipment from us.
The package should contain the following:
- the product you are returning
- a completed return form (or at least the order number)
- material to prevent further damage
4. Send the package back to our address

Please remove the original shipping labels before sending. You can order shipping from GLS or DPD. However, you can also use other carriers to return the goods. You can have the parcel picked up at your home or drop it off at one of the drop-off points or boxes. Please note that we do not accept COD shipments.
5. Wait for your refund
After receiving the returned goods, we have 14 days to inspect them and issue a refund. We will refund you using the same payment method you used to place the order. If the goods were paid for via cash on delivery, the amount will be refunded to the bank account number you provided on the return form. If you would like the refund to be sent to a different bank account than the one used to pay for the order, please let us know by emailing shop@designville.eu.

I’m returning an item. How long will it take to receive my refund?
If you send theitem back to us undamaged and in its original packaging within 30 days of receiving the shipment, we willrefund the full amount to your account within 14 days of receiving the returned item. If the returned item is damaged or shows signs of wear and tear, the refund amount may be reduced by the value of the damage incurred.
Will the return cost me anything?
You are responsible for the shipping costs of the package containing the returned items. Once we receive the goods, we will refund you the amount for the returned product as well as the original shipping cost (this is considered to be the cheapest shipping method we offer in our store, excluding in-store pickup).

Withdrawal from the contract
DesignVille makes it possible for customers-consumers (those not acting in the course of their business or profession) to withdraw from contract and return goods without giving any reason within 30 days from the day when the customer or a third party that is designated by the customer but is not the carrier takes over the goods, or:
- the last piece of the goods if the customer orders several pieces of goods in a single order but the pieces are delivered separately,
- the last item or part of the delivery of goods consisting of several items or parts, or
- the first delivery of goods if regular deliveries of goods for a certain period are agreed in the contract.
A notice of withdrawal from the purchase contract must be sent within the 30 days limit to the address: DesignVille, Netroufalky 797/5, 625 00 Brno, Czech Republic or preferably via Withdrawal form or an email ( shop@designville.eu ).
Please note that you have no right to withdraw from contract if goods were manufactured according to your requirements or tailored to your personal needs.
Send the goods back to our DesignVille Warehouse Troubsko address stated above without delay, no later than 14 days from the date you notify us that you are withdrawing from the contract. You are responsible for the costs associated with the return of the goods. Where the goods cannot be returned by ordinary mail due to their nature, the costs of the goods return range from EUR 10 to 800, depending on the size and weight of the goods, the distance from which the goods are returned, and the prices of the carrier.
For refunding your payment, we use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we explicitly arranged a different payment method with you. Payment will be refunded to you once we have received the returned goods from you. Please allow 5 days for inspection of the returned goods. The payment amount may be reduced for any damage or loss in value of the goods. If you have received a gift from us along with the goods, the return of the goods will obligate you to return the gift as well.
