The Fun floor lamp is one of the most striking interpretations of Verner Panton’s design from the mid-1960s. Its tall, vertical silhouette fully highlights the character of the entire collection.
The metal structure carries a cascade of mother-of-pearl shell discs suspended on delicate rings. These filter the light into a warm, pleasant glow without glare and create a subtle, almost chime-like effect when gently moved. The brass frame emphasises the contrast between precise construction and the organic texture of the shells, giving the lamp a natural lightness.
Thanks to its height, the Fun floor lamp works as a striking lighting object next to a sofa or armchair, or in an open-plan living space. It also fits beautifully in a bedroom, entrance hall or hotel setting, where it provides soft ambient light. Combined with the pendant, wall and table versions, it allows for harmonious lighting compositions throughout the interior.
