The Copenhagen-based brand Muuto is launching its fall collection in early September, featuring a strong emphasis on the tactile quality of surfaces, ingenious physical mechanisms, and sustainable materials such as FSC™-certified wood and recycled metals.
Modular Coltre Sofa: a sofa inspired by a blanket
One of the most anticipated releases this fall is the modular Coltre Sofa from the Milan-based studio Studiopepe, whose name derives from the Italian word for “blanket.” Distinctive parallel stitching gives the sofa rhythm, volume, and a characteristic sculptural profile.
The FSC™-certified wood frame, combined with metal springs, ensures superior comfort, while the fully removable, zippered fabric cover guarantees durability and easy maintenance.

The collection includes 6 versatile modules (including 135° and 225° corner pieces and a footrest) and an optional armrest cushion, allowing you to assemble both compact sofas and generous, organic configurations for public and private spaces.
Brink bentwood chairs made of wood veneer
Copenhagen-based designer Thomas Bentzen spent years developing and refining the veneer before bringing the new Brink Chair collection. The result is a slender, graphically clean silhouette with a seat featuring rounded edges.
The Brink Chair collection includes three types of bases:
- an A-frame base made of recycled aluminum, which allows for convenient stacking,
- a cantilever base made of bent steel tubes that offers gentle give
- an all-wood base for lovers of classic design.
Contra Floor Lamp: Sculptural Balance
A true standout in lighting is the Contra Floor Lamp by Jamie Wolfond. An elegantly curved steel arm extends from a solid concrete base, featuring a sliding counterweight that allows you to smoothly adjust the height from 30 cm to 260 cm above the floor.
The lamp offers a very wide beam angle, both laterally and vertically. The LED light source is dimmable, and thanks to the aluminum shade with a PMMA diffuser, the 2700K light is beautifully diffused throughout the space.
Iconic Accessories in New Fall Shades
This fall, Muuto is expanding its proven best-selling accessories with new, inspiring colors and styles. A practical and playful organizer The Sketch Toolbox by Erik Olovsson comes in a soft, refreshing shade of Light Blue.
The iconic glass vase with a delicately ribbed surface from the Ridge collection now comes in a warm, earthy shade—Burnt Orange—available in all sizes.
The the Folded collection has also been expanded, with the bent-steel shelves now complemented by a mobile steel side table on wheels in four colors and three design variants.
