Coltre modular sofas are characterized by clean, well-defined shapes and exceptional comfort. The name comes from the Italian word for “blanket” and refers to the distinctive quilted layer that covers the firmer base, much like a soft blanket. The regular lines of the quilting add rhythm and volume to the upholstery and create an interesting contrast to the simple geometric design.
The base of each module consists of a wooden frame supplemented with metal springs and foam padding. The softly padded upper section is covered with a removable fabric cover that can be replaced as needed. The individual modules stand on beech legs and can be securely connected into various configurations using integrated steel connectors.
