The Brink chair plays on the contrast between visual lightness and surprising strength. The thin, delicate shell is pushed nearly to the limits of the material’s capabilities, while its pronounced curve provides the necessary stability and flexibility, all while creating an interesting interplay of light and shadow. The rounded edges comfortably contour to the body, and the clean lines give the chair a light and timeless appearance.
The shell is made of molded veneer with a beech core and a surface layer of oak veneer. The cantilever base, made from bent steel tubes, contains at least 25 per cent post-industrial recycled steel and, together with the shell, provides pleasant flexibility when seated and responds naturally to the body’s movements.
The Brink chair is ideal not only for dining or work tables in the home, but also for meeting rooms, restaurants or cafés. It is available in several other colour options and also in a version with an upholstered seat or fully upholstered front section.
