The Stools was created in 1960 as part of Charles and Ray Eames' design for the interiors of Rockefeller Center in New York. The solid wood body with a gently concave seat provides a comfortable place to sit and can also serve as a side table. The characteristic profile of the Model C base gives the stool a sculptural expression, making it both a functional accessory and a decorative element in its own right.
This version is made of European chestnut with a hard wax oil finish that highlights the natural grain of the wood and gives it a matte, subtle look. The Stools chair is suitable for the living room, bedroom, and hallway, where it combines practicality with timeless aesthetics.
Stools are available in several other shapes and colors.
