The Series 270 F chair was developed in 1965–1966 as Verner Panton’s experiment with modularity and bent plywood. The design is based on a simple construction made up of three main elements that form a structurally clear and functional whole. It was originally part of a modular system intended for serial production.
The chair is made from bent and lacquered FSC-certified birch plywood. The form is lightweight, visually clean and ergonomically functional. Its minimalist design highlights the material and the structure itself, without unnecessary decorative details.
The Series 270 F chair fits beautifully into modern residential interiors, workspaces and creative studios. It is available in several additional colour finishes.
