The Series 270 F collection was developed in 1965–1966 as Verner Panton’s experiment with modularity and bent plywood. The design is based on a simple construction made up of three main elements that can be combined in different ways to create various configurations. The system was originally conceived as a modular concept for serial production, allowing for the creation of chairs, armchairs, stools and tables.
The chairs are made from bent and lacquered FSC-certified birch plywood. The form is lightweight, structurally clear and ergonomically functional. Its minimalist design highlights both the material and the construction itself.
Series 270 F chairs fit beautifully into modern residential interiors, workspaces and creative studios, where their graphic silhouette and structural clarity stand out. They are available in several colour finishes.
