The Oaki chair combines Nordic know-how and Japanese joinery. It is inspired by the simplicity and art of handmade craftsmanship in Japan. The designer has cleverly covered the joints of the chair, so that it looks light and smooth, without any noticeable transitions. The legs of the Oaki chair are extended up to the height of the backrest. Because they are slightly curved backwards, the chair looks as if it is constantly in motion.
