The Mat collection from Normann Copenhagen is a result of an innovative approach to the use of environmentally friendly materials. The design was created by the Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen studio, which, based on years of research and development, decided to use hemp and eelgrass, a type of seaweed, as the material for the chair's shell. These atypical materials then form the very essence of the design and play a key role in its aesthetics, which allows the natural beauty of the materials to fully stand out.
Variants with and without armrests are available. For maximum comfort, the collection also offers a version with upholstery.
