The Knot rug by designer Lotta Agaton is based on a simple idea that lets the material itself and its texture shine. Thick, interwoven rope creates a soft, textured surface with a slightly organic character, while the subtle knot in the corner serves as a distinctive detail on each piece. The result is a rug that looks striking and sturdy, yet retains a pleasant softness thanks to the material’s flexibility.
The rug is handwoven in India from rPET, recycled polyester processed into strong and durable fibers. The material withstands daily wear and tear well while retaining its appearance over the long term, making it suitable even for high-traffic areas of the home.
The Knot rug adds a cozy touch to a living room, bedroom, or the area under a dining table, and thanks to its durability, it’s also suitable for use in hotels, offices, and other commercial spaces.
