The Easy Chair is one of Verner Panton’s early designs from the early 1960s and reflects his bold approach to lounge seating. In a more compact format, it brings together all the key features of the collection - a distinctive silhouette, rounded lines and a strong focus on comfort.
The wide U-shaped backrest is the defining feature, flowing naturally into the armrests and allowing comfortable seating in various positions. The three-part layered construction and circular shape give the chair a subtle sculptural quality without feeling heavy.
The structure is made from FSC-certified plywood combined with MDF and MDP panels. The filling consists of high-quality HR foam, ensuring both comfort and long-lasting shape retention. Upholstery is available in a wide range of fabrics, making it easy to adapt the chair to different interiors.
The Easy Chair fits perfectly into living rooms, reading corners, hotel lobbies and lounge areas. It works equally well as a statement piece or as part of a set with the Easy Sofa and Easy Pouf.
