Wall-mounted version BL7 of Gubi's iconic BestLite lamp in black, a table version of which was also used by Winston Churchill in his study. The lamp comes with a power cord with plug, the switch is located on the base - so the lamp can also be installed directly on the wall outlet (version without power cord).
The lamps from the Bestlite collection have been in continuous production since 1930 and are thus a true design icon. The BestLite series was designed by Robert Dudley Best (1892 - 1984), influenced by the tendencies brought to design by the Bauhaus movement.
