BestLite Lamps have been continuously manufactured since 1930 and can therefore be considered genuine design icons. The author of the entire series is Robert Dudley Best (1892 - 1984). While creating the BestLite collection, he was fundamentally influenced by the tendencies brought to the design world by the Bauhaus movement. In his study, even Winston Churchill had one of those BestLite lamps.
