The Base High Table was designed for Muuto by Finnish designer Mika Tolvanen. His aim was to create a table with its own character, but not too distinctive, in order to maintain the desired functional simplicity. Therefore, when creating the base, he reached for steel and extruded aluminium with a durable acrylic powder coating. For the table top, he then chose a laminate surface with plywood with oak veneer edges.
The table is enhanced by a frame located at the bottom of the table base. The frame increases overall stability, but also comfort, as it allows for a comfortable footrest.
The material, the quality, and the design itself represent the Scandinavian design tradition of simplicity, which makes it possible to combine the table with any bar stools - preferably with a height of 75 cm. The table will thus fit perfectly in any home, but also in public spaces such as hotels or restaurants. Clean lines, simplicity, lightness, but also real durability and stability perfectly describe the bar table as such.
The table can also be supplied in a width of 50 cm for wall mounting (price the same). Alternatively, it can be supplied with an oak veneer top (price on request). Please specify any requirements for other designs in the order notes.
