The Palissade Cantilever collection introduces a new interpretation of HAY’s iconic outdoor furniture, featuring a cantilevered construction that lends the familiar silhouette a lighter, subtly flexible character. The base without rear legs creates a floating effect, allowing the seat to respond gently to the movement of the body when sitting down. The result is a surprisingly comfortable and dynamic seating experience that remains true to the design language of the original Palissade series.
The Palissade Cantilever outdoor furniture is made from durable steel with a high-quality finish. Furniture life is greatly extended by the hot-dip galvanizing process, where steel frames are dipped in molten zinc, creating a flexible coating over the entire steel surface, protecting against corrosion and offering a maintenance-free design. The collection is designed to integrate naturally into gardens, terraces, urban courtyards, café terraces and hotel outdoor spaces.
The slightly flexible construction provides enhanced comfort for dining as well as relaxing, while the clean lines allow easy pairing with all other models in the Palissade collection. The Palissade Cantilever armchairs are also available in several additional colour variants.
