Birdy lamps form an extensive and timeless collection of floor, wall and table lamps. The lamps, formerly known as the s-30016, were designed in 1952 by Norwegian designer Birger Dahl, and two years later won a prestigious gold medal at the Milan Triennale.

In 2013, the Norwegian brand Northern decided to restore this classic design. The series of lamps with a matte finish is available in classic colours such as white, gray and black. To commemorate the centenary of Birger Dahl's birth (1916), the brand in 2016 introduced a new shade of Birda table lamp - Marsala in a beautiful matte red shade.
