In the words of the famous architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe , "Less is more." provided the inspiration for the design of the tables in the Mies collection. The shape of the table is defined by horizontal and vertical lines in a strict architectural composition. An interesting detail that completes the minimalist design is the table top partially recessed in the frame.
