Copenhague Table combines design history with modern technology to give the table a slightly independent character. The symmetrical, elegant legs in lacquered oak wood create a very subtle, simple silhouette, which is perfectly complemented by a top in a similar aesthetics.
HAY 's Copenhague furniture collection was designed specifically for the University of Copenhagen in 2013. The requirements from the university were clear – all the tables had to be characterised by functionality, easy maintenance, durability and a design with a welcoming almost homely feel.
The versatile table can be used as a desk, a dining table or a table of other uses for public and private spaces.
