The Fun wall lamp is one of Verner Panton’s iconic designs from the mid-1960s. Like the other versions in the collection, it works with movement, texture and light as defining elements. On the wall, it appears as a light, almost jewellery-like object that adds a subtle sense of movement to the space.
Its characteristic feature is the chains of mother-of-pearl shell discs suspended from a metal structure. The discs filter the light into a soft, warm glow without glare and create a delicate sound when gently moved. The chrome frame highlights the contrast between precise construction and the organic texture of the shells.
The Fun wall lamp works beautifully in bedrooms, living rooms, entrance halls and hotels, where it functions as both ambient lighting and a decorative accent. Combined with the pendant, table or floor versions from the collection, it allows for harmonious lighting compositions throughout the interior.
