The Seki-Han lamp collection by designer Tobia Scarpa represents a dialogue between light, material, and craft tradition. The first design from 1963 returns in the current edition in the form of a redesigned series that combines the original sculptural character with modern technology and precise workmanship.
Each lamp consists of two elegantly shaped wooden slats surrounding a central light source. The slats can be rotated around their axis to change the intensity and direction of the light, from a soft diffusion to a concentrated beam. This movement creates a dynamic play of light and shadow and allows the user to fully influence the atmosphere of the space.
Seki-Han lamps are made of solid ash wood combined with metal elements and precise lighting technology that guarantees high performance and long life. They are available as floor lamps and pendant lamps, both of which share a uniform design.
