The Elliptical Table ETR was designed in 1951 by Charles and Ray Eames, and its elongated oval shape soon earned it the nickname "surfing table." The low, elegantly rounded top appears light, but at the same time provides a sufficiently large surface for everyday use. The stable wire base, typical of the Eameses' work, adds lightness and strength to the construction.
The tabletop is made of poplar plywood with a durable high-pressure laminate surface, while the base is made of steel wire welded into a solid frame and powder-coated. Thanks to its timeless design, the table can be used as a dominant coffee table in the living room, but also as an original element in the entrance hall or modern social area.
Elliptical tables are also available in several other colors.
