The Eames DSL was designed by designers and husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s to produce a chair that would adapt perfectly to the human body, while being durable and easy to handle. These requirements have materialized in a chair that has become an icon of modern design over the years. The chair is designed to find a place in the home, in the office and in public spaces. In addition to the re-edition in fibreglass, Vitra now manufactures the Eames chair in solid recycled polypropylene.
All Eames chairs feature a shaped seat made of recycled polypropylene, which offers comfort during long periods of sitting. The DSL version is complemented by a subtle four-legged La Fonda base, which looks light and ensures stability.
As standard, the chairs are supplied with glides for hard flooring (if you would like glides for carpet, please specify this requirement in the notes). If desired, a padded seat or full padded version can also be ordered.
