The Bat Dining Chair is characterised by the contrast between Scandinavian elegance and Italian design. When designing these chairs, the designers were inspired by bats, specifically their anatomy and unique wingspan.
The chairs were designed by GamFratesi – Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. They draw on traditions of both countries, taking inspiration from the classic Danish furniture tradition and the timeless Italian intellectual and conceptual approach to design.
The chair is also available fully upholstered in other designs (on request). The Bat collection also includes chairs without upholstery or with front upholstery.
