The Panthella 400 floor lamp reimagines Verner Panton’s iconic 1971 design in a more compact form. This smaller version is based on the original Panthella 500 floor lamp and retains its characteristic proportions and organic silhouette, but thanks to its more subtle dimensions, it offers greater flexibility in interior placement.
Panton’s philosophy of using organic shapes and combining the base and shade to act as a light reflector is brought to perfection here. The version with an opal acrylic shade creates a pleasant and evenly diffused light, ideal for creating a cozy atmosphere. The stand is made of painted aluminum, while the base is made of injection-molded polycarbonate.
Thanks to its height of 103.5 cm, the Panthella 400 fits easily next to a sofa or armchair, in a reading nook or bedroom, and also works well in hotel rooms or smaller lounge areas. A 2.5-meter-long cord with an on/off switch ensures flexibility in placement within the interior.
