The designers Knut Bendik Humlevik & Josefine Hedemann initially imagined the Florence collection by New Works as a number of shelf assemblies. Based on the same visual identity, the brand later released coffee and storage tables. A circular top made of classic marble dominates the visual of these coffee tables.
The metal frame provides the shelves and tables with a strong and secure base. Its form foreshadows the collection's pervasive reliance on geometry. In the instance of the shelf set, the glass shelves go well with the metal frame. The things you put on them shine out thanks to their material.
