The Beam table lamps by Muuto were designed by Tom Chung. With a design based on minimalist lines, they are a great source of both direct and ambient light.
The story behind their creation is a bit unusual. As a part of the renovation of his childhood home, Chung separated the living room and the hallway with a shelf. This called for a lamp that would provide a source of light in the living room and, if necessary, in the hallway. Thus, the Beam lamp was created. It features a 350-degree rotating base and diagonal tube with fixed LED units on both ends.
