The Lampe de Bureau made of sheet steel was designed by Jean Prouvé in 1930 for the halls of residence at the Cité Universitaire in Nancy. Prouvé based his designs on practicality and designed durable furniture without unnecessary decorations. The minimalist, functional design of the Lampe de Bureau is no exception. The lamp is available in several colours.
