The seat cushion is designed to make sitting in the Fly chair as comfortable as possible. The cushions are placed loosely so that you can arrange them to suit your own needs. The design does not tie in to sitting in predetermined positions, as is the case with many designs from the history of Scandinavian design. So you can sit or lie on the Fly chair. The frame of the chair is made of solid oak treated with smoke oil. This only makes the material more beautiful over time.
The design was created by Space Copenhagen, the studio of designers Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, who draw inspiration primarily from their travels abroad. Urban motifs such as the imperfect walls in the streets of New York and other details of everyday life are reflected in the mood of their designs.
The price shown refers to the SC1 model in Smoke Oak and Harald 182. Other upholstery options are available in the Fly collection or upon request.
The armchair looks best in combination with a two- or three-seater sofa and footstool from the same range.
