TheEames DSW (Dining Sidechair Wood)chair was designed by designers and husband and wife team Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s to produce a chair that would adapt perfectly to the human body, while being durable and easy to handle. These requirements have materialized in a chair that has become an icon of modern design over the years. In addition to the re-edition in fibreglass, the Vitra Eames chair is now made of solid polypropylene. The chair is designed to find use in the home, in the office and in public spaces.
As standard, the chairs are supplied with glides for hard flooring (if you would like glides for carpet, please specify this requirement in the notes). If you wish, it is also possible to order the padded seat or the full padded version.
