The idea for the Archivo bookcase was born in the mind of Spanish designer Jaime Hayón during his travels around the world. He liked to bring back souvenirs from his trips that were special to him and he wanted them to be displayed with dignity. He tried to create a playful and stable shelf that would match the design and at the same time make the souvenirs from his travels look good. Archivo has an organic shape and pleasing colours that make it stand out.
The Archivo shelf has a depth of 38 cm, which is perfect for storing vinyl 12" records, which delights all music lovers. In living rooms and study rooms, it finds a use not only for displaying small decorations, but also for a collection of favourite books or houseplants.
