The Brutus furniture collection is a tribute to the brutalist architecture of the mid-20th century. The design duo of Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl combine architectural austerity with the subtlety of shapes. The result is furniture that looks like a piece of sculpture, yet offers the comfort of everyday use. A characteristic element of the collection is the contrast between sharp lines and gently rounded armrests and edges, which creates visual tension and harmony at the same time.
The collection includes lounge chairs, dining chairs, stools and coffee tables in two distinctly different material finishes - lightweight fibre concrete and solid oak. While the concrete version impresses with its distinctive texture and raw look, the oak pieces bring warmth, naturalness and timeless elegance to the interior. Each element is meticulously handcrafted - including hand-painted concrete surfaces and FSC-certified oak wood.
Furniture from the Brutus collection is suitable for both living spaces such as living rooms, dining rooms or entrance halls, as well as public interiors, where it can stand as a design element that is both distinctive and functional.
