The bench from the Pyramid collection is designed to be functional, lightweight, sturdy, yet design-led. The bench made of wood and steel is particularly striking for its timeless and rustic charm.
It was originally designed by Wim Rietveld while working at Ahrend in the 1950s. The HAY brand, in collaboration with Ahrend, decided to relaunch the collection. The reissue of this series in its original style proves that good design never goes out of style.
The powder-coated steel base creates a perfect harmony in combination with the solid oak wood, with its various finishes. The frame slightly overhangs the sides of the wooden top, creating an interesting detail.
The Pyramid collection also includes tables and side tables of the same design.
