Fragilis Bowl Large

Fragilis is hand-shaped from a single sheet of ceramic clay. The atypical design of the corrugated bowl was made by Swedish ceramicist and designer Cecilia Armand, who wanted to create a modern and timeless piece with a fragile and clean form. The soft curves creating a calm expression are in contrast with the dark glaze, which gives the bowl intensity and depth. The undulating organic shape of the bowl changes its appearance during the day as light strikes it. In addition to practical use in dining, Fragilis can also take the role of a distinctive work of art.
